Bet you thought it would never happen. But it’s happened. I am back to working on my book and on track to finish a chapter before my writing group decides I’m a total slacker.br /br /I’ll amend this to give a word/page count tonight — 362 words / 2 pages– but one of the things that has happened is that I’ve had to pretty much scrap the entire chapter I was writing. In that familiar phrase, I’ve had to kill all my darlings. My clever turns of phrase, the way it was put together… all 6 or 7 pages of written text all had to go. br /br /Frankly, my allegiance to what I wrote was killing the book, leaving me unable to move forward. check for source discount levitra Cenforce XXX comes in different flavoured sweets that must be eaten up an hour or probably 45 minutes before they start to make love. Yep, you can do it. And that’s great that you’ve come to figure out what was holding your writing back! BR/BR/Oh boy, do I know how hard it is to give up those favorite sentences, scenes, chapters, or characters. But I’m learning to look at it this way–if they stand up and jump out to me as “favorites,” then it could very well be something that’s going to pull the reader out of the story, as well. I have to remind myself that the entire story should be consistent and no one scene or phrase better than the rest. But that’s my opinion and it still doesn’t make it easier to “kill my darlings.” :-)BR/BR/Good job on getting through it!BR/BR/Michele
